This basket was created from muhly grass that I grow in my flower beds. It is a sturdy round grass that grows in a clump about 24-36 inches long. It has a lovely lavender feathery flower and is quite picturesque. My plants are trimmed regularly in the summer months so I don't get to see the flower stage often. The agate slice has light blue gray figure in the center that all agree they see the "seahorse". The blue pattern, the wave, encircles the basket and is especially noticeable when the piece is put on a turning lighted pedestal.Measures: 15 x 15 x 8 inches.
